Peugeot PY10 from 1977. This is a classic stock bike from Peugeot – nicely built in Reynolds 531 tubing throughout. This bike is built to mimic the bike of Bernard Thevenet but there are differences in build quality.
Nonetheless the PY10 is a great bike and top of the line available to the public during the 70s. It’s built with the great shifting Simplex groupset – including the amazing retrofriction shifters which gives way better shifting. The Mafac Competition brakes does an amazing job as well and combined with the Cinelli 1R & Giro d’Italia cockpit the bike is absolutely amazing.
