Mercier – the famous pink bikes ridden by great riders like Raymond Poulidor and Joop Zoetemelk. The Mercier team was active from 1935 until 1984 and won great victories in both stage races and one-day races.
This particular bike is a very rare example of the first generation of their Contre-la-Montre – a extra light frameset built with the rare 3/10 tubing. The bike is full of beautiful details including the cut-out bottom bracket and the intregrated brake bolt. Unfortunately the chrome on the fork crowns has seen better days.
