Alan – the first aluminum bikes and produced for the first time in 1972. Known to be very light but also a bit fragile thanks to the lugs which often developes cracks in the joints. Nonetheless it was a top end bike – both used in the pro peloton and in cyclocross – often rebranded like this example.
Alan frames won severable cyclocross championships but also one-day classics and was used by teams like Magniflex, Vibor and Fiorella.
This bike is rebranded as a Guerciotti and it is in a great condition with no cracks or squeaking built with Campagnolo Record and a wheelset with Maillard 700 hubs – all original.
